Local Reno Sports Radio Legends

Times were very good on December 23, 2005-On the left is sports talk host Bob "D" (Robert Dirosario), and on the right the late Paul Sonner, owner of Bully's Sports Bars. The sports experts posed for a quick photo during a commercial break on the ESPN broadcast
for ESPN Radio 630 in Reno. Sadly Paul passed away almost exactly 4 years later, on December 21st of 2009. Paul did many good things for area people and gave much time and cash
to Nevada sports.
Bob D was a talented and funny sports host for many years on KPLY 1270, (later called KBZZ), and for a year on ESPN 630.

Random Reno...

A rose memorial left by the dead driver's parents is at Ralston and Hwy 80,
next to a homeless stash box....
The driver was killed when she drove the wrong way ,and left Ralston Street,(to the right), and sped down the concrete hill, and impacted the freeway perimeter wall last summer...

The chips on Virginia street still look good, but are getting stained by beer and what looks like blood...we will hope it is not....

And downtown Reno offers her best location to the California tourists,,,,
